Clear
Primo VE

A discovery tool from Ex Libris group used by all 40 college and university libraries through FLVC. Replaces Mango.

Proxy

A stand-in network address or server, used with access-controlled systems to make a client appear to be "local" to the network where a resource is located, so that the client's connection will be accepted.

PURL

Persistent Uniform Resource Locator, a URL which won't change over time.

PxPROD

In Aleph, place where Production databases are re-indexed so that PROD is not bogged down.
