Image of E-Resources

The statewide collection of e-resources for the colleges and universities will see a few exciting changes in 2016.  All institutions will have access to four of EBSCO‚Äôs Source products:  Applied Science and Technology Source, Art Source, Education Source, and Humanities Source.  These new Source products combine some of our old Wilson content with updated EBSCO content for improved coverage of these subject areas.
There are several other changes to the 2016 statewide collections. For both the SUS and the FCS, the following EBSCO/Wilson products will be cut:
  • Book Review Digest Plus
  • Biological and Agricultural Index Plus
  • Biography Index Past and Present
  • OmniFile Mega Full Text
For the SUS, the following products will be cut:
  • OCLC Scipio
  • ProQuest Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals
  • EBSCO Publishing package, which includes Anthropology Plus, Chicano Database, History of STM, and Index to 19th Century American Art Periodicals
  • PQ Congressional
For the FCS, CINAHL Plus with Full Text will be upgraded to CINAHL Complete.  CINAHL Complete contains almost twice the number of full-text titles as the Full Text product.  Also, the following products will be cut:
  • Science in Context (Gale)
  • JSTOR Business II
  • Issues and Controversies (Facts on File)
  • Essay and General Literature Index (EBSCO/Wilson)
