Mango and Primo provide library users with a fast, easy, and effective framework for searching rich library collections. These powerful discovery tools allow students to:

  • Locate full-text articles, journals, e-books, and other valuable resources that are currently available to each college or university.
  • Search for books and other physical materials owned by their home library, or expand their search to include the physical library collections of all other public college and university libraries in Florida.
  • Manage lists of favorite books and e-resources, add tags, place holds on library materials, view overdue items and any associated fines, and request items from other libraries.

Florida’s public university libraries use Mango as a library catalog for their local holdings. Additionally, several state university and college libraries use Mango as their local discovery tool. These include:


In addition, the statewide union catalog uses Mango to provide access to college and university library holdings; resources are available based on the user’s library affiliation. Interlibrary loan request are handled through the UBorrow service which provides access to all college and university materials.



Primo contains holdings for all 28 state colleges and is used by many of the colleges as their local discovery tool. These include:



Interlibrary loan functionally within Primo allows college library users to borrow materials from any state college. Each college interface includes a link to the statewide union catalog, from which users can also search for university-held resources.
